The Resilience Lab is part of the UW Student Well-Being Collaborative, a monthly convening of more than 40 staff, faculty, and students aimed at bettering the mental and physical health of University of Washington students. Working in close coordination with student-led initiatives, the SWBC website aims to create a more integrated and holistic continuum of care to better address the rising needs of UW students.
The CCDE is our partner in the Resistance through Resilience program, a training and speaker series that focuses on the applications of mindfulness, compassion, and dialogue for interrupting racism and its intersections. They serve as a leading example in equity work at the University of Washington, using research collaborations, action-oriented classes, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and community events to examine privilege and celebrate difference all across Seattle.
The CCFW strives for a future where all children and families have equitable access to the resources needed for full social and emotional well-being. As the lead developers of the Be REAL (REsilient Attitudes and Living) training series, they’ve worked with the Resilience Lab to deliver cognitive skills and training skills to the larger UW community.
As our partner for the Resilience & Compassion Seed Grants, the CSF provides opportunities for UW students to engage in the proposal, planning, and implementation of sustainability-oriented projects. Dedicated to an environmentally-sustainable and socially-engaged campus, the CSF has offered grants for projects focused on a range of issues, from biodiversity to clean energy, education to art.
A key resource for research at the University of Washington, the OEA offers evaluation and assessment services to departments, offices, and organizations at the UW and beyond. The team at OEA is currently partnering with the Resilience Lab as part of our research into student well-being, analyzing survey data from incoming students to better understand how students stay resilient in the face of stress.
