For in-person confidential advocacy, schedule an appointment with the LiveWell Student Advocate or UWPD Victim Advocate — email addresses listed below.
LiveWell Student Advocate
Our LiveWell Student Advocate provides a safe and confidential space to support students who have experienced an incident of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking or sexual harassment. We support students and help them understand their options for reporting both on campus and in the larger community, provide academic advocacy, and safety plan — always with the understanding that it is up to the student to make decisions about next steps and whether or not they want to report to campus officials or the police. To make an appointment email: hwadvoc@uw.edu.
UWPD Victim Advocate
The UWPD Victim Advocate works with students, faculty, and staff who have been impacted by interpersonal abuse or who otherwise have safety concerns. Support the advocate can provide includes: safety planning, seeking academic and workplace accommodations, legal advocacy and support in criminal, civil, and family law cases, accessing state and community resources, and navigating any reporting processes. It is not required that one report to the police or school in order to work with the advocate, and these services are all confidential. To make an appointment email: uwpdadvocate@uw.edu.
