Public Transportation to Husky Health Center
Sound Transit’s Link light rail is the fastest way to travel to UW from points south of the University District. Link runs every six minutes during peak hours, and stops at Husky Stadium, which is a 10-minute walk from Husky Health Center. UW students and staff with UPASS activated on their Husky Cards ride for free.
There are also a number of bus routes that stop within a block from our building. Use King County Metro’s Trip Planner to determine which bus to take.
Parking
Parking for People with Temporary or Permanent Disabilities
Patients with a temporary or permanent disability or whose mobility is temporarily affected by illness or injury can park in designated Husky Health spots in lot N22, across from Husky Health. Temporary disability includes broken bones or sprains, severe upper respiratory illnesses, or other ailments that impair movement. Families with babies and small children, as well as pregnant people, are also welcome to use these spots.
Park in stall 1 if you have a disability placard or license plate.
Park in stalls 2 or 3 if you have a temporary disability or mobility issue.
If you park in one of the Husky Health stalls, you must check in with our front desk after parking and report the make and model of your car. This is critical in avoiding a ticket.
There is no parking cost for Husky Health patients with temporary or permanent disabilities.
Parking for Non-disabled Visitors
Husky Health patients and visitors are encouraged to park at the pay stations located at the bottom of the Padelford Garage on levels N20/21. The parking rate is $4 per hour. Pay stations accept debit and credit card payment. You will take several flights of stairs to the clinic from the parking lot. There are also escalators inside the parking structure.
If pay station parking is full when you arrive, please travel to the nearest gatehouse located on Pend Orielle Road. Gatehouse staff will redirect you to the closest available lot.
