Refer Someone for Support:
Suicide Intervention Program:
The Suicide Intervention Program (SIP) works to reduce the risk of self-harming behaviors. By reaching out to students who are referred to SIP, our goal is to help establish a connection to a supportive resource at the Counseling Center, or an off-campus provider. This program is not designed to intervene in an emergency (always call 911 if there is imminent risk or danger). This program connects students to services who may be struggling to connect on their own or who may be in need of outreach and support. To make a referral email: lwsip@uw.edu
