Threat Assessment & Management Specialist
Katie is here for individuals who have safety and wellbeing concerns for themselves or others. She coordinates tailored threat assessment and management response when there is the potential for escalating violence in situations impacting any member of the University of Washington community. Katie provides information about violence prevention resources, leads violence prevention assessments and serves on multiple University of Washington workgroups. Before coming to the University of Washington Katie worked in victim advocacy and crisis response on the east coast. Katie brings empathy, creativity and an in-depth understanding of the interconnectedness of both oppression and liberation to her work at SafeCampus.
