Aaron Davis
Graduate Student Assistant
Aaron (she/they) is an MPH epidemiology, maternal child health candidate at the University of Washington. They graduated from the University of Washington Bothell in 2021 with a B.A. in Health Studies, with minors in Global Health and Health Education and Promotion, and a CHES national certification. Aaron was recognized as a part of the UW’s Husky 100 in 2021 for their work with Seattle’s unhoused populations and their dedication to community-level health interventions. Aaron believes strongly in the power of community and has a passion for public health research and community-led initiatives and activism to address historic health disparities.
Currently, Aaron works across many interdisciplinary projects as a harm reduction and racial health disparities research coordinator, in addition to being a community project coordinator and health communicator. Their research interest includes social epidemiology, social determinants of health, Public Health Critical Race Praxis (PHCRP), health equity across the life course, and health implications of racism, incarceration, and homelessness. Aaron leverages their diverse lived experience to inform their work and how they collaborate with communities.
