Who I work with: College of Built Environments

How I work with students: I have a collaborative, trauma-informed, student-centered approach to care with the understanding that students know themselves best. I aim to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space for students to share how they are doing in a way that feels comfortable for them. This may include talking, drawing, movement, or any other activity that feels approachable and accessible.

Professional interests: Stress, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, multicultural navigation, identity formation, relationships

What therapy can look like: It can look like sipping tea or coffee and eating snacks (if desired) while students share about their experiences. We will discuss hopes for therapy and intentionally work together towards a version of themselves that they would like to be. I can offer cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management skills, mindfulness, somatic practices, and creative arts. In addition to English, I am familiar with Tagalog, Waray-Waray, and Khmer.

Approach to wellness: I have an appreciation for the outdoors, crafting, movement like yoga and walks, spending time with people I care about, being in community, and rest.
