How I work with students: I strive to offer a culturally sensitive and non-judgmental space in which we can collaborate to build on your strengths and reach your goals. Depending on what feels congruent for you, this may involve developing more adaptive ways of coping, thinking, and interacting; increasing skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, self-compassion, and time management; processing difficult experiences; and/or finding ways to approach daily life, academics and career, and relationships that are consistent with your values. My therapeutic approach is also informed by my values of feminism and social justice.
Professional interests: I enjoy helping students navigate a variety of challenges, especially those related to values and/or identity; experiences of trauma and oppression; and anxiety and depression.
Approach to wellness: I find it restorative to spend time connecting with my family, enjoying nature, reading, and practicing mindful moments throughout the day.
