How we help

Psychiatric medications work on the brain and nervous system. They are used to treat mental illnesses, such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.
These medications require a prescription and careful monitoring by a licensed health care provider.
Getting started
To access specialty psychiatry services, you must first get a referral from either a primary care provider at Hall Health or a therapist at the Counseling Center.
For first-time prescriptions or refills, please schedule with a primary care provider at Husky Health.
If you want mental health treatment but you are unsure about what treatment options are right for you, it’s best to get started with a counseling appointment.
