Background: Dr. Koval was raised in Oregon and Illinois. She attended the UW for undergraduate and medical school and the University of Wisconsin (the other UW) for residency
She has spent 25 years doing small town primary care and urgent care; 1st in Mt. Vernon then on Bainbridge Island. She joined Hall Health in April 2022.
Philosophy:I My goal is to work with patients to manage acute illnesses and injuries as well as support the primary care team in managing chronic disease. I really enjoy the fabulous, caring staff and Hall Health as well as the diverse UW community.
Scope: same day and urgent care of all adult and children as well as women’s health, minor office surgery and procedures.
Personal: I love to hike and camp for fun, exercise and mental health. Reading fiction and hanging out with a large extended family fill the rest of my non-doctor time.
