Husky Health Center provides comprehensive primary care to the UW community. 

We are committed to helping you stay healthy and to treating your concerns and illnesses in a timely manner. Our goal is a happy and healthy you! 

We Care for a Wide Range of Issues

  • Acute problems such as flu, abdominal pain, backaches, and bladder infections 
  • Immunizations against flu, measles, mumps, rubella, HPV and more 
  • Skin problems such as rashes, warts and acne 
  • Routine gynecology such as Pap tests, contraception and vaginal infections 
  • Preventive health care such as screening for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, cholesterol, cancer and high blood pressure 
  • Chronic problems such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, headaches, anxiety and depression 
  • Physical exams (if you need forms signed for a required medical evaluation, be sure you mention this when making the appointment. Special instructions and charges apply.) 
  • Recreational scuba diving medical exams 
  • Commercial driver physical exams 
  • Mental health issues, both acute and chronic 

Not sure if you need an appointment? UW Seattle students and established patients can access medical advice by calling 206-685-1011. 

Our providers are physicians (MDs), physician assistants (PA-C), nurse practitioners (ARNPs). Support staff include registered nurses (RNs) and medical assistants (MAs).

If you have a medical emergency, please call 911. For after-hours medical advice, contact the Community Care Line at 206-744-2500.

While our Same Day clinic is not an urgent care clinic, you can call us at 206-685-1011 during regular hours for time-sensitive medical concerns. We’ll help you find the right level of care and arrange a same-day visit when we can.

Husky Health provides comprehensive acute and chronic care to University of Washington Seattle Campus students.

Note that only currently matriculated UW Seattle students are eligible for subsidized services, which include:

> Same-day care for urgent medical needs with an appointment

> Medical advice from a nurse

> Free safer sex supplies

> Mental health services from the UW Counseling Center including counseling, crisis intervention and group therapy
