About
LiveWell empowers students to build the skills and knowledge needed to enhance both personal and community well-being, making intentional health choices at the UW and beyond. Through the expertise of professional staff and the passion of Peer Health Educators, LiveWell delivers evidence-informed programs and services focused on health promotion, prevention, education, and advocacy.
LiveWell: Health Promotion & Prevention supports student well-being through confidential advocacy for survivors, substance use education, suicide prevention initiatives, peer wellness coaching, basic needs navigation, skill-building workshops, and engaging wellness events.
Services
LiveWell offers a variety of services for students at the University of Washington in Seattle:
- 1-1 appointments
- Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) consults
- Confidential Advocacy for survivors
- Peer Groups
- Peer Health Education workshops
- Peer Wellness Coaching
- Student Needs Navigation
- Suicide Intervention Program (SIP)
- Tabling events
LiveWell services and programs are funded in part by student fees and are provided at no additional cost to students.

Health education & resources
The LiveWell Health Education Program provides the UW community with credible health and wellness information aimed at enhancing essential life skills, fostering informed decision-making, and promoting personal and community well-being. LiveWell delivers health education programming through a variety of formats including:
