Important Network Change for Husky Health Center

URGENT INSURANCE ALERT: ACTION REQUIRED

Important Network Change for Husky Health Center

Do you or your dependents currently have health insurance coverage through any of the plans listed below? This change could impact your access to in-network care at Husky Health Center and all UW Medicine facilities in 2026.

Affected Plans

UW Medicine facilities, including Husky Health Center, will no longer be in-network with certain coverages under the following plans, effective January 1, 2026

Washington Health Insurance Exchange Plans:

  • Plans with Regence BlueShield of Washington (specifically individual/family plans purchased through the Exchange, such as the new Individual Connect network).

Medicare Advantage Plans:

  • Plans with Humana
  • Plans with PacificSource
  • Plans with Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup)

What This Means For You

If you remain on an affected plan in 2026, services received at Husky Health Center and other UW Medicine facilities may be considered Out-of-Network, resulting in significantly higher out-of-pocket costs (including being responsible for the entire cost of service).

IMMEDIATE ACTION STEP

You must visit the official UW Medicine insurance page to confirm the status of your specific plan and learn about in-network options for 2026.

Open Enrollment Deadlines

Please pay close attention to the deadlines for changing your plan to ensure continuous in-network coverage:
