Dental care for the UW community
Dental care is available to students, faculty, staff and their families at UW School of Dentistry, located in the Health Sciences Building, just south of main campus. Services are tailored to all members of the UW community, and care is available to the general public as well.
Our services
We offer a variety of dental services including:
- General Dentistry (Dental exams, regular cleanings, fillings, and X-rays)
- Orthodontics (Braces and Aligners, including Invisalign®),
- Wisdom Tooth Extractions
- Crowns, Bridges and Dentures
- Implants
- Root Canals
- Children’s Dentistry
- Sedation Dentistry (For patients with dental fears or anxiety)

Dental Urgent Care Clinic
The University of Washington School of Dentistry Dental Urgent Care Clinic in Seattle provides dental services for patients who are experiencing discomfort, swelling or need immediate dental care.
UW Dentistry Faculty Practice
When you choose the UW Dentistry Faculty Practice, you’ll receive comprehensive care across all specialties. That means we can provide all of your dental needs without referring you to outside offices. You’ll save time and you’ll benefit from a team of experienced and highly skilled faculty dentists and specialists, collaborating on your care.
Teaching Clinics
Patients receive care from dental students working towards their DDS degrees, under supervision by licensed and experienced UW School of Dentistry faculty dentists.
Graduate & Specialty Clinics
Care is provided by licensed dentists studying a specialty, or the experienced faculty specialists training them.
