Hall Health offers quit counseling and nicotine replacement therapy to UW students, faculty, and staff.
Tobacco Talk
Hall Health provides UW students, employees, and patients of Hall Health Center support in entering tobacco or nicotine recovery. Whether you’re wanting to stop entirely, cut down, or not yet sure, we can help you make a plan. The more support you get, the more likely this quit attempt will be your last.
Tobacco Talk was initially created from a generous gift from the Snoqualmie Tribal People and continues through funding provided by the UW Services and Activities Fee. There is no cost for the program. UW students are additionally able to access Nicotine Replacement Therapy products (usually patches or gum) at no cost if their insurance plan does not provide coverage.
To get started, please schedule an initial visit with a health care provider by calling 206.685.1011. You will be able to schedule return visits online.
After your visit, you can pick up nicotine patches, gum or lozenges at the Hall Health Pharmacy, or they can be mailed to you. Questions? Email uwhhc@uw.edu for more information.
