An eight-week course in basic mindfulness meditation. Develop skills to help with difficult thoughts and emotions.

VIRTUAL (and limited in-person) yoga and meditation classes
UW Recreation offers yoga and meditation classes, workshops and special events designed to support body, mind and heart. Get ready to experience more moments of reflection, clarity, empowerment and connection in your daily life.
- Our classes are open to everyone regardless of yoga/meditation experience, flexibility or current fitness level.
- We also offer workshops like Yoga Basics, Mediation for Stress-Free Living, and Nutrition Building Blocks.
- ALL offerings (including fitness) are FREE for students this Autumn Quarter.

Yoga for healing (ONLINE via ZOOM)
(8-week series, Fridays 1:30-2:30pm, 04/09 – 05/28, FREE)
A class for UW-Seattle students that supports students in regaining empowerment, cultivating a sense of wholeness, and inner resilience.
Through movement and sharing you will work towards a sense of comfort within your physical body as you non-verbally process thoughts, feelings and sensations that show up
This class is for anyone navigating the effects of:
- Verbal abuse
- Self-harm
- Disordered eating
- Deep depression
- Sexual assault
- Domestic violence
