All international students are invited to attend the IWP Post-Arrival Resource Fair hosted by CIRCLE, which includes a vaccination clinic hosted by the Immunity Verification Program in partnership with the WA Department of Health’s Care-A-Van.
When: September 21st, 10 AM to 3 PM
Where: HUB Ballroom Room 211
Thank you all for attending the event! If you have any questions or concerns, please email immunity@uw.edu.
- Students 18 and younger (born on or after September 22, 2004) can receive the MMR, Meningitis ACWY, and HPV vaccinations.
- If you are a student aged 19 or older and need the MMR or Meningitis ACWY vaccinations to meet your requirements, or if you are not able to attend the fair, you can find vaccinations at other locations, such as Hall Health Center.
- All vaccines are available at no cost for eligible students. Insurance is not needed to access vaccines.
- There are other vaccination clinics in Seattle on October 3rd and November 9th. Please note: If you receive any vaccine, you may need to wait at least 28 days or more for another vaccine. For instance: if you receive an MMR vaccine, you will need to wait 28 days before receiving a second MMR vaccine.
- Printed proof of vaccinations will be available during the event to turn in to the Immunity Verification Program to fulfill your UW immunity requirement.
- It is recommended that you bring any and all vaccination documents you already have to the event with you for the medical professionals to consult. It is also recommended that you complete the Consent Form that will be linked onto your confirmation email at least a day before your appointment.
It is strongly recommended that you make your appointment in advance. Same-day and walk-in appointments may also be available, but cannot be guaranteed.
