Centralized Wellness Website
The SWBC once envisioned a website that centralizes student health-related services at UW in order to increase student awareness of and access to resources. The outcome of this work is this very website! If you have feedback about how to improve or enhance the website, or want to share a story, event, or your favorite health-related resource, please connect with our team by filling out the Contact Us form. Read more on the Centralized Wellness Website Page.
BeREAL
In partnership with the UW Department of Psychology’s Center for Child & Family Well- Being (CCFW), BeREAL is a six week program for students to learn contemplative practices and coping skills within academic and communal spaces across campus. During Spring 2019, Be REAL was offered within General Studies as a 1 credit class, at the Q Center, as part of College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), and at Hall Health. More information about BeREAL can be found within the Group Counseling page.
Well-Being for Life & Learning Initiative
The SWBC is interested in seeding a cultural change on campus where the value of well-being is embedded in all that we do. The Well-Being for Life & Learning Initiative is bringing together faculty members who are integrating well-being content and activities into classroom spaces. These faculty fellows are modeling various skills and mindsets that may support you with academics and in life, weaving in opportunities to connect to your sense of purpose and a connection to the community.
